actually she is of bangledeshi indian origin. it says so on her imbd. yes she has one. she is not that vain. at least she's not angelica mandy. girl adds photos every like 3 hours or something. but i just want to know, how come when angelica or someone else has like a 1,000 pics of themselves we over look it. but when afshan has pics of herself up she's vain? why? what makes her so vain? i think i and everybody would like to know.

That's becuase the make-up people don't want the Hogwarts students to look like supermodels, they want them to look like STUDENTS. Even Emma gets really really downplayed in that movie - compare her in OOTP the movie, to one of the premiers. Hogwarts seems like a really down-to-eath place so I'm sure the make-up people have clued in on the fact that the students probably wouldn't be buried in make-up.

And cutepix, if you look at the comments for Angelica Mandy you'd see that there are TONS of people who are constantly complaining about how she takes too many pictures.

i still don't get what she's doing on the cover of that magazine though..i mean, if you think about it, shefali chowdhury's role in the movie was more prominent than hers, and yet you don't see shefali much! on the other hand, she looks very pretty in this picture.

Maybe she was just the only one available. There are a whole bunch of reasons why Afshan may have appeared on the cover- i mean maybe Shefali didn't want to do the cover, or maybe this magazine is one run my a memeber of her family... you never know.
