Today, Warner Bros. announced that the IMAX version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has grossed a staggering $20,033,758 worldwide, making it the first 2D digitally re-mastered IMAX release to reach such a record.
Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution at WB Pictures, had this to say: “We are thrilled with the unprecedented box office performance of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in IMAX theatres. The IMAX release helped contribute to the overall excitement surrounding the Harry Potter campaign as well as the theatrical success of the film.”
Rupert Grint, and the Phelps twins appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Jo Whiley show earlier today. Thanks to Mugglenet for a brief summary of the show:
The interview was slightly informative. We learn that all three love rock music, and that Rupert has a dressing room that is more like a den, with a dartboard, a pool table and a plasma screen TV. Also, Rupert said that he has just come from filming the scene in Umbridge’s office with the Inquisitorial Squad, so at least we know that the writers aren’t cutting that out! And, last but not least, when asked to say one word to describe the actors they’re working with, they said that they think of Dan as “hyperactive,” Gary Oldman as “cool,” and Emma as “Different. Totally different from her character, totally.” And Jo Whiley said “That’s not one word…”
Many thanks to Mugglenet and Coming Movies for the tips!

IMDB has updated their OotP Credits List and has listed Dario Marianelli as the composer.
Marianelli has been taking on some large films recently including The Brothers Grimm, V for Vendetta, and Pride and Prejudice for which he recieved an Oscar nomination
This is no way confirms that Marianelli will be scoring the film as IMDB has been wrong in the past.

Emma invited 150 of her mates to celebrate her magical 16th birthday to Hertford College, part of Oxford University!
Emma did show a wild side — knocking back Steinlager beer. An onlooker said: “She kicked off her shoes when The Prodigy came on and was all over her boyfriend at the end of the night.”
*laughs*
She invited more than 150 mates, co-star RUPERT GRINT among them, to Hertford College, part of Oxford University, where she laid on live bands and DJs. The millionaire schoolgirl danced barefoot, snogged her boyfriend and swigged beer.
Emma insisted her skint mates pay for their drinks to try to stop them getting too drunk.
And she encouraged them to stay sober by providing fruit juice cocktails including Hermione Hangovers and Wicked Watsons.

Hey! Really quick update =) err… got math next:(
Harry Potter star Emma Watson swapped her broomstick for a hockey stick to take part in Oxford’s first International Young Women’s Hockey Festival at the weekend.
The 15-year-old plays Hermione Granger in the series of movies based on JK Rowling’s bestselling books about the young wizard, and attends Headington School.
She took part in the festival as a member of the Rover Sports Oxford hockey team, which, along with City of Oxford and West Witney, faced players from Oxford’s twin cities of Leiden, in Holland, and Bonn, in Germany.
The matches were played at the new Oxford University Sports Centre, in Jackdaw Lane, off Iffley Road. The girls also enjoyed a disco, ice-skating and a reception hosted by Jim Campbell, the Sheriff of Oxford, at the Town Hall.
One of the organisers, Oxford City Council’s international officer May Wylie, said: “We have been looking at hosting more events and thought hockey was a great sport we could focus on. All of the girls stayed with local host families.
