The boots are alright. But I don’t think they go right with the outfit. The combinations Emma chooses are always weird.. Most of the things look good on there own, or paired with other things, but together they just clash. The books compete too much with the rest of the outfit, and its hard to focus on the overall picture. It just doesn’t flow very nicely.

She looks awesome! I love the boots. It’s great. And there’s nothing weird about Emma’s fashion. Now Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch have weird fashion choices. Emma has become a fashion icon now. Which is why she was on People magazine’s best dressed list. And Emma doesn’t wear anything that clashes. she usually wears a dress with shoes. Or pants a cute top and cute shoes. And she keeps the accessories at a minimum which is great. nothing weird there. And what do you mean the books??? I think you meant the boots and they’re not competing. they actually make the outfit awesome! And she’s only wearing a shirt, jeans, and black boots. It naturally flows. It’s a simple, yet sophisticated outfit. She looks great. Now something that doesn’t flow very well is wearing black tights, sliver shoes, and a lime green sweater aka Bonnie Wright at the National movie Awards or wearing a tight blue, homemade dress, too long hair extensions aka Evanna Lynch.

This has to be my favorite picture of her.
I know guys have debates about fashion and what not. From me I like that Emma, Katie, Bonnie, and Evanna experiment. It shows some of their personality and what type of clothing they like. Though some work, some don’t. I am glad they try something different. For me I like Emma’s choice outfit for the Kid’s choice awards. I don’t like the boots that much. I don’t like how they go over her jeans. I think if the boots weren’t so long I probably would of liked them better.

Shanie, I think the reason there are already HQs for this is becuase the media cares for Emma more than they do for BOnnie. Like at my school (I live in America so I don’t know what it’s like in England) a lot of people still call Emma “the girl who plays Hermione”. So you could imagine someone like Bonnie who gets like 20 seconds of screen time each film would totally come from left field, nobody knows who she is. I’m talking in genereal here of course.

Oh so now this is Bonnie bashing, huh? I think we have HQs of this because this is UK Nick Awards and the recent Bonnie attended is a 10th year in fashion of a designer, a more exclusive and elegant event than this. This has nothing to do with the people care Emma more than Bonnie. Because I for one, care more about Bonnie than this Emma.And mind you, she’s not always great obsessed fans. I love Bonnie so much but I know she’s not always on her best form. Because she’s a person not a God!

The thing that I don’t understand is why some Emma fans bash other HP members, but then say Emma can do no wrong, and that people who bash her are “haters.” She’s human, therefore she isn’t always perfect. People can be fans and still think that she dresses horrible. You don’t have to be obsessed in order to be a fan. I think she is a great girl and very pretty, but in my opinion her fashion sense sucks and she needs to take some acting classes. That doesn’t mean I’m anti-emma, it just means i’m not psycho-crazy and think that what ever she does is perfect. Umm if that was directed at me I wasn’t bashing anyone, especially not Bonnie. I was simply saying that if Emma, who is basically the female lead of this huge franchise, is still commonly known by most as “hermione” than how do you expect anyone to know who Bonnie the actress is?? If I walked to my brother’s room right now and asked “What did you think of Bonnie Wright’s acting in the 4th Harry Potter film” the answer I would get would be “Who?” and then to get him to understand what I was talking about, I would have to say the girl who plays Ginny, and then I would have to clarify even more because Bonnie gets so little screen time. This is what a basic conversation I would have with my brother, who likes the movies but refuses to read the books and could care less about the actors, would sound like. He only knows about Emma because I talk about her constantly and her name appears 3rd on the main credits, whereas Bonnies name doesn’t even appear until the black screen where they show the roll-bys. Most people at my school are like this as well. It might just be an American thing, I don’t know how popular Bonnie is in Britain.
Bonnie fans are very touchy it seems. I wasn’t saying Bonnie not being famous in a negative way at all. For example if Emma were to be caught in a Lindsay Lohan like drug scandal all the tabloids would go absolutely bananas, but if that were Bonnie they wouldn’t care as much becuase generally speaking people here don’t really know who she is.
On a side note I think every one of the younger cast including Emma and Bonnie (don’t freak out on me) need work on their acting (especially Dan). Compare them to someone like Dakota Fanning and it’s just crazy. Most, if not all, of the adults are brilliant though. Emma was good in Prisoner of Azkaban, but after that all went downhill. I don’t pretend Emma is the best even though I adore her and I actually got annoyed when she won best actress over Keira Knightley.

Oh grow up the lot of you, you sound like a bunch of playground tweenies the way you’re all going on about Emma and Bonnie. They are BOTH pretty girls who BOTH like to experiment with their clothes, and both of them would think that you are are a bunch of idiots with the pure fuckery you get into every time one of them attends an event.
Emma fans need to get over the fact that not everyone likes her for whatever reason, and Emma haters need to get over the fact that whether they like it or not she is very popular. I saw the vids, interviews, afterparty shots and the whole of the Pride of Britain Awards and like it or not, Emma is even popular with other British celebs.
Bonnie will gain some popularity when HBP promo comes around and genuine HP fans LIKE ME will look forward to it BUT if we’re realistic it will propably be in the same way Katie Leung did…close, but no cigar.

I think the outfit would be fine if her jeans were a bit tighter, but they bunch messily over the boots. If it wasn’t for that, I think it’d be perfect - and I actually really like the boots. I love that top too, it’s lovely. This outfit works much better than the PoB one did. Emma does well to stick to tried-and-tested formulas, i.e. top, jeans and boots. It seems that when she tries to make dressier outfits work, she doesn’t have much of an eye for accessories - unless she’s being dressed by Chanel, of course… But her hair always looks amazing, which helps.

I guess I don’t really see the big point in being upset when Kathleen bashes Emma. I’m sure every single person here has said negative things about a celebrity before. The reason it ruffles so many of your feathers is because you like Emma, and Kathleen’s opinion is different than yours. And the argument that some of the domain names for the website focus on Emma is stupid in my opinion. It gets more traffic by using Emma’s name, and most people search for private pictures of her than any other harry potter cast member. If you are offended by what she says, don’t come here. Well if you find something offensive, why would you keep going back to it? Its just a waste of time. If I went to a movie and thought it was insulting, why would I go see it again? And again, and again, and again. The part that really stumps me, and I guess I didn’t articulate that very well earlier, is that you guys keep coming back. Like you enjoy being offended, or you expect the website to change. And I also don’t understand how you can agree with my statement that you will always have to deal with different opinions when you are constantly saying how wrong Kathleen’s view are. Thats not dealing with different opinions, but trying to reform them to believe your own. For example, read what some of these people are saying about the fact that they don’t like Emma’s boots. Well if you object to the private pictures, why do you look at them? Its kind of hypocritical. And if someone makes a snide comment about Emma, how does that personally offend you? I don’t understand the reasoning to this. Do you get offended when Emma gets bad reviews or when other celebrities get bashed? Why are Emma fans so upset when ANY bad news of her is made public? She has it good compared to other actresses. A huge part of being a celebrity is that you put yourself out there for critics. Look at Britney Spears, David Beckham, George Bush.. All famous for different reasons and they all have snide remarks thrown at them. And those remarks get thrown in your face by the media. You can’t go to the grochery store without seeing something about one of them. Emma is very protected. She isn’t all over the magazines, news or anything, she doesn’t get thrown in your face. So if you’re offended by one site, i’d say thats pretty good compared to what it could be. MAureen, fans WILL come here and they WILL react if they think the person they are a fan of is getting bashed, it’s what fans do. The boots are ok but they don’t look right with the outfit on Emma. Emma & Bonnie are just as pretty as each other, although Bonnie doesn’t make the best of herself, that’s the difference.
P.S: Bonnie is a MUCH better actress than Emma at this point.
