Why birthday girl Emma Watson is not having such a wizard time with her curfew
Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson may be legally allowed to enjoy a drink now that she is 18, but she still has curfews to obey.
The actress, who is filming Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince in Hertfordshire, abandoned her birthday celebrations last week so she would be fresh-faced on set.
Annoyingly, Emma, who has a good behaviour clause in her contract with Warner Brothers, wasn’t even allowed to go to the MySpace Beyond The Rave party last week which she was due to attend with her financier boyfriend Jay Barrymore.
“Jay was there on his own,” I’m informed.
“Emma wasn’t happy to be told she wasn’t allowed out.” Nor will she be happy to hear that Jay was having a long chat with Tamsin Egerton and Tallulah Riley from the St Trinian’s movie.
But there is a little silver lining to go with her cloud.
After turning 18 last week Emma access to her £10.5 million fortune for the first time
She only got her hands on the money after agreeing to enrol on a crash course on being a multi-millionaire, Mail Online has learned.
And, after amassing the huge sum over eight years starring as Hermione Granger, she is reportedly being paid £2.5million for the latest Harry Potter adventure.
However it has emerged that she will have a battle on her hands if she wants to try and blow her millions all at once.
Emma will only have access to her money through a wall of men in suits at Coutts - the bank favoured by the Royal family - which also managed co-star Daniel Radcliffe’s estimated £24million fortune.
She has also had to complete a crash course in being rich, given by the bank at the request of her parents.
The actress had to sit through three days of tutorials with other Harry Potter child stars including Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy in the movie franchise.

She made a statement about Borrell because the story had spread from the tabloids to “legitimate” media. And that happened because there were actually pictures of her standing next to Borrell.
As long as the story stays in the tabloids, denying it just gives it more publicity. If it spreads, it’s getting more publicity anyway, and you’re better of issuing a statement.

Have to totally agree with Steve. She makes a statment on her official website about Steve Burrell but yet she hasn’t said a word about refuting what the tabloids have printed about Tom Ducker and now this Jay guy so I think that a conclusion can be drawn. I do think it is funny though how she stated, on her official website, that she better be careful who she stands next to or shares a cab with because she isn’t following her own advice. I’m also still wondering what the deal was with her and Dan on Valentine’s Day she surely won’t ever talk about that!

Love the pic!! LOL!! It’s just hard to believe someone like Emma doesn’t have a boyfriend. The reason I think it might actually be this Jay fellow is because… He just seems to be the kind of guy she would like. He’s older, Tom Ducker probably turned her away from blokes her own age for a while. Plus her favorite film is “Notting Hill”. If you’ve ever seen the film. The main character ” a huge star” falls in love with a regular guy and they make it work. She’s 18 so it’s only normal for her to have a BF at this stage in her life. If so then great, if not then oh well. It’s fun to speculate and whoever Emma has as a boyfriend I’m always on her side. If she likes him and he seems nice then so do I, if he’s a tool “Ducker” I’ll do a little bashing on him.

Poor little rich girl. I would absolutely hate to have those sorts of problems.
She should give half her money to starving opiethians or whoever they are and stop her whining.With the other half she should get at least 6 inches cut off her Chin because she looks like the female version of Jay Leno, and while she is at it she should get someone to have a go at her Wookie eyebrows with a slasher.Then she should either get breast implants or have her head turned around and walk backwards so she can use her shoulder blades as boobs because they are bigger than her breasts.
