Third: Have you ever used a camera? You can get more than one picture in a few seconds and if there were several photographers, they could took a lot. It’s not like she was posing.

Emma made the conscious decision to wear THAT underwear, paired with THAT dress, attend a publicized event, and then you expect the photographers to just politely turn away while she’s getting out of the car. That’s just not realistic or sensible. I’m sorry, but you’re just asking way too much in this case.
If there wasn’t intent on Emma’s part, she could have very easily avoided this potential embarrassment by selecting an opaque pair of panties. Or perhaps a calf-level dress. Which is why I don’t think this was all that “accidental” at all.
My sister has counselled me on the conscious and calculated way in which women “display” themselves. Her theory: If you saw it, then she wanted you to.

I have to disagree.
Emma is not an average “poor little innocent” teenager who didn’t know what was going to happen. Now, I’m not saying she planned it, however I am saying that she is not ignorant as far as show business and experience with paparazzi goes.
You must consider that she has been in the eye of the media since she was 11. So — yeah — I’d think she would have learned by now to be more careful when surrounded by hundreds of cameras.
She should have been smart, and *not* wear lingerie casually under a short dress. That was her first mistake. Whether it was a publicized event or not, she knew cameras would be there.
I cannot believe the twisted prudes on this page telling us all how ashamed we should be and how disgusted they are. Please stop with all the self-righteous drivel.

I also agree about the ‘learn how to wear short dresses and skirts’, as well. During 2007 at both Letterman and the National Movie Awards there were videos of her crotch. Unless she’s going to be more conscience about these things, she should not wear short-anything at all (or unless she really just doesn’t care — which I think she does).

At the Letterman Show in 2007, her underwear wasn’t transparent, yet there are still videos and pictures of it. I think the paparazzi is to blame (or atleast MORE to blame), and not just for Emma’s pictures, but for all other celebrities’ as well.
As a girl I will be the first to say there is no graceful way to slide across a backseat without flashing a little. I mean she’s not Britney Spears trying to expose herself on purpose. That is just something that happens and the fact that a camera was focusing on it is just well gross. I think you should take them down. Not cool

While I can’t relate to the difficulty of exiting a vehicle properly while wearing a dress (I’m male), I still say that if Emma had wanted to prevent this from happening she could have either selected a longer dress or, failing that, opaque underwear.
She chooses differently in either case and the entire internet wouldn’t be aware that the “carpet matches the drapes”. But she concsiously paired those panties with that dress and combined that with an evening of getting in and out of vehicles where photographers might be present.
That’s why I still say that this can’t be entirely accidental. It just can’t be.
