Daniel Radcliffe finds ‘Aussie Cinderella’
BOY wizard Daniel Radcliffe is desperate to find a mystery girl who locked eyes with him at the AFI awards ceremony in Melbourne last year.
The Harry Potter star, who has often spoken about not being able to find a girlfriend, revealed for the first time his missed opportunity at the AFI awards in December.
“There was one girl there, oh my God, she had these eyes that just looked at me like she wanted to pounce on me,” Radcliffe said of the girl he saw backstage.
“She stared at me the whole night and I was going to get her number and then I couldn’t find her.

“I must have walked around that party for an hour trying to look for this girl like some sad pathetic dweeb - but it would have been so worth it.”
When asked if we could help find her, Radcliffe blushed and regretfully shook his head.
“I don’t know, I don’t know her name, I can’t remember her name. It was one of those things but she was stunning.”
In an exclusive interview with the Herald Sun, the 18-year-old revealed his admiration for “brilliant” Australian women.
The boy star, worth an estimated $50 million, has in the past told of his fears of “gold diggers”. He said one day he hoped to meet the right woman, and she could well be an Australian.
Radcliffe said he would visit Australia again, a country and people he loved.
His dream would be to return with some mates for an Ashes series, spend two months in the country and go to all five Tests.
He also revealed Melbourne was his favourite city, and that his parents had a flat in Toorak.
But he is not so keen on our cabbies.
“That’s the one thing I’d say against Melbourne. The taxi drivers are useless,” he complained.
“The amount of times my mum reached through and stopped the meter in those cars. It’s ridiculous.
“I can’t believe when you get in and say you are going to Federation Square, they didn’t know where it was.”

She was on like every “drive home” radio show this afternoon, from Hamish and Andy to Merrick and Rosso and Kate Richie. Her name’s Cassie (I think? Wasn’t paying much attention to her name) and she said that she wouldn’t mind being with Daniel but she’s already got a boyfriend, who her family apparently love (her mum was on the show as well)

It’s going to be funny if this Aussie girl in all the papers turns out to be not that girl at all. Dan looks at a lot of girls, I remember seeing him flirting like mad with the girls who had come to the backstage door when he did “Equus”, but you don’t see him salivating in some interview after all this time about it.
