HARRY Potter star Daniel Radcliffe says he was only joking about fancying an Aussie girl, potentially breaking the hearts of two women vying for his attention.
Reports surfaced in a Sydney newspaper and spread worldwide within hours of Radcliffe’s desire to meet up with a mystery Aussie he met at the 2006 AFI Awards in Melbourne.

Just thought I’d point out the obvious…Dan hasn’t married anyone. Harry Potter, a fictional character who JK Rowling knows better than anyone and so knew who he loved, married Ginny. Dan is not Harry. Dan is a real, living, breathing person. And he decides who he dates and who he considers like a sibling or friend.
Its this sort of strange, frankly creepy, behavior that brings the Potter fandom into disrepute.

For one thing this entire ‘joke’ began from an article that a tabloid newspaper published and now another is claiming that Dan has said that he was just joking.
FACT: There has been no proof whatsoever that Dan even gave an interview to the newspaper or whether he himself said something of that sort, it’s like the ridiculous ‘death threats’ crap all over again where people even having to have discovered continuously that tabloids are for the most part liars at their best when it comes to celebrities, they still believe them. And seriously unless one hears and sees Dan actually admitting to this whole thing, it’s utter crap that just starts the same repeated idiotic arguments all over again.

I’m very disappointed in Dan for doing this. Obviously he made some comment because why would he be apologizing for saying what he said if he hadn’t made some comment. I lay the full blame on Dan. I’ve never been a fan of Dan’s and this has just cemented my opinion even further.

I think that it’s kind of funny that the past two years Dan hasn’t attended Emma’s birthday party and that the past two birthday’s Emma has had a presumed BF in attendance. I’m not a Dan Emma shipper by the way. I don’t think they would make a great couple. I just think that Dan doesn’t like Emma’s boyfriends. Maybe it’s just because he’s protective of her.
