Yes, it does. I read Twilight and there is no part in the book where he flys. Ugh!! I hate it!! I am gettin tired tht everywhere I turn I see Twilight. They went way off the book!!!! I hate tht I can’t even go to a Harry Potter site without seeing it!!!

It doesn’t make sense!!! Also, for all ur info who actually care. Robert just did it becuz he wanted to do it becuz Kristen is in it. Kristen did it becuz of the money. The director did it becuz she was the one who got the script. Then the girl who is playing Alice didn’t even read the books till she got the part. (All info I hve given u is in interviews of them.) Some ppl say Robert liked the books before, but no in a recent interview he didn’t read them. He did it cuz of Kristen.
I don’t know bout any of u, but it matters to me. It matters tht none of them were fans. IT MATTTERS TO ME!!!

I know. I am soo angry!!! I wish all the fans or anyone that loves these books don’t go to the theaters for like two or three weeks till it comes out in theaters!! We would still see it, but they wouldn’t get a good review and they wouldn’t make the others!! I guess the thing tht makes me mad the most angry is tht Kristen is only doing it for the money!!! There are a lot more deserving ppl and actresses who could of did it better. They should of had a open audition and found a fan who would do a great job. One of my friends told me tht well they picked her so she is good. NO! Tht’s not wht tht means. It means they couldn’t find anyone else to do it. If they would of had open auditions they would of found someone better and someone who wants to bring Bella to life and make all the fans happy not to just get money!! Oh it makes me mad!! And I do read the books and he is on the ground not in the trees. NO, not flying. He is on the ground read it again!!! If u think Kristen is good in tht trailer then ur mad. I know it’s one scene and w/e but if u look at when he “FLYS” through the trees she has no expression none. They even hve stills of it if u don’t believe me. I think any fan could do better than her. The girl in the Golden Compass didn’t want to be an actress, but just wanted to be tht character and she did great. So, there is an example right there. I didn’t say they couldn’t act I said they couldn’t in tht movie and I didn’t say everyone couldn’t. I said just Kristen and Robert. I like Jacob, Alice, and I hven’t really seen the others.!!!! KRISTEN IS THE ONLY ONE THT SAID BOUT THE MOENY. KRISTEN SAYS IT IN AN INTERVIEW!!!! I know they love to act or they wouldn’t be doin it for years. He found out she was doing the movie so he did it. Actually, miss know-it-all. Robert has read the books and has read the extra first chapter of the unpublished “midnight sun” and from watching his interviews he totally understands the character and gets how Edward is feeling and he stated that he understood that Edward had a very strong self-loathing part to him and he wanted to convey that in his preformance. Try watching some of Robs interviews before you judge him! He’s a smart actor who knows how to become the character. I agree that some actors choose certain films for money and fame but they audition for a character because they like performing and like the character that was in the script.

I do agree with those of you that are wondering why this site has been putting up so much stuff about Twilight but then again, this website isn’t just about Emma it is also about what the other HP actors are doing as well and Robert is one of those actors. They still put up other things related to HP but honestly if they hadn’t put up the link to the Twilight trailer I might not have ever become a fan (like I am now).
As for Robert and Kristen well, I’m surprised that they picked Rober to play Edward given his British accent unless he can get rid of it for this movie. As for Kristen, I haven’t seen much of what she has done so can’t judge what kind of actress she is but the minute that I saw the two of them together it kind of sold me on them being Bella and Edward maybe because I read the books after they chose the actors for the movie. Some of you that read the books a long time ago might have pictured Edward and/or Bella being portrayed by someone else.
I’m not trying to judge to much from the behind the scenes footage that I have seen but I do know that from watching the trailer that we’ve all seen that these two have amazing chemistry. I’ve been offended before when seeing behind the scenes things and how the actors might giggle or say certain things regarding the movie that I seriously like but I’ve learned to understand that this is the nature of show business; Robert and Kristen probably laugh their heads off in between takes of serious events in the movies and joke about stuff. As for them doing it for the money, well that is also the nature of show business. I think Robert is extremely lucky that he is going to be able to be in two blockbuster series with both HP and Twilight most actors can’t claim that.
So lets see how it all plays out in the end and whether or not any of the people that have been cast call pull off translating the wonderful words of Stephanie Meyer on to the big screen.

Johnny Deep becomes the character and acts like tht character the whole time during the film he transforms himself to the character u can’t see him, but all u see is tht character. It is absolutely amazing. He walk differently for every character to fit them and just moves his body in the way the character should be. Kristen never changes her walkin or her personality every single film she is in she plays it the same.

I love Twilight and I love it a million times more then HP since i’ve read the series. Eclipse is just…amazing! I still love Potter and always will, i just consider it more my fave childrens novel where Twilight is my fave young adult novel. I love the intense relationship that Edward and Bella have. The blood lust is a great metaphore for sexual abstinance. And after Bella and Edward get married (which i’m sure they will), they will definitley have sex before he changes her into a vamp. The Cullens are so deep and have just sad, dark pasts. its great reading. I think the fact that Twilight keeps popping up in HP sites just proves the fact that Twilight is the new Harry Potter because people are just as obsessed with it (perhaps even more), it knocked HP off top spot in the New York times best sellers list. The trailer is nearly the most watched trailer ever online and the actors in the film actually have talent unlike the HP cast. The HP movies ruined the books but i think Twilight is going to be fairly accurate. The flying through the trees thing is driving me crazy though, whats up with that? Edward cannot fly!

Yea, Twilight the movie will suck. The trailer isn’t bad, but I hve watched other videos showing scenes and they r off plus the symposis is off on everything summit and twilightthemovie.com they say James,Laurent,and Vittoria r rivals of the Cullens they didn’t even know of the Cullens till they heard them playin baseball and wanted to join. I think tht is wht bothers me the most. And yea Harry Potter made a huge mark Twilight is just goin to live in our hearts not in History books. Stephanie didn’t create a WHOLE diff world. So, it is completely diff it cannot be judged together. And the Twilight actors r way worse than HP. The HP cast has Britain’s greatest in it and they r teaching the teenagers how to act. So, there is no way Twilight can compare they have only semi-famous ppl in it not big names like HP.

Actually it is stated on wikipedia that James does already know Alice. He tracked her when she was a human. The movie is going to be quite accurate to the book (apart from the stupid flying in the trees lol). I can assure you that this movie will be great because before Catherine Hardwick the director got involved and took over, the script involved the FBI and Bella was atheltic and not clumsy but when Catherine took over she fixed those mistakes along with other mistakes. Its going to be more accurate then any HP movie anyway. I’m not even looking forward to HBP anymore because David Yates absolutley butchered OOTP. Twilight is going to be fairly true to the book, all they are doing is adding some stunts to make it more exciting. There’s nothing wrong with that at all. I have never been more excited about a movie, even the 45 second trailer rocked! Can’t wait for the next trailer!

Well i don’t know why you are being so picky. In the book, James, Victoria and Laurent turn into their enemies straight away anyway so there is not much difference. The minute James smells and sees Bella he wants to kill her straight away in the book so they are enimies straight away. They are just trying to simplify it for the movie audience who have not read the books. Its a good idea i think. As a film maker I would have done the same thing. I promise they won’t ruin the books, i’ve seen every interview and behind the scenes stuff and read some leaked scripts and they are doing their best to be true to the books and not change anything big so don’t worry. The actors are great, the director is great and she made them change the script to make it more accurate to the book, so lets have some faith okay? No book movie is ever going to be exactly the same anyway. We can only hope they don’t change anything big like thats retard David Yates did for OOTP. And trust me, Catherine Hardwick would never ever do that. She fixed the mistakes in the script when she got involved so lets trust her okay!

Twilight is definitley the book series that has succeeded the most as the HP replacement. No other fantasy sereis has been compared to HP like this before. Stephanie Meyer has been called the New JK Rowling or the American Rowling loads of times by the media. I agree that HP will go down in history more than Twilight because it was around first but I strongly dissagree about the talent of the actors! None of the HP kids can act, at all! Well Rupert can act but thats about it. The rest of the younger cast are completely shockingly bad, particulary Dan and Emma. Its not all their fault, they do have a bad script and a bad director, but they are still really bad at becoming the character. I mean Emma just says her lines and thats it. She doesn’t become Hermione at all! And Dan is just embarrasing when he’s trying to be angry or upset. Robert, Kristen, Peter Facinelli (Carlisle) or Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) all have more talent in one finger then all of the younger HP cast put together. I don’t know about the others, i’ve never seen anything with them in it but Rob, Kristen, Peter and Jackson are utterly fabulous actors! Why do you think HP gets so many adult stars like Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Brendan Gleeson, and David Tenant? The reason they need so many adult stars is because the kids suck and they need to take the focus away from them!

Kristen has been in many many films, just because she is not the lead doesn’t mean she’s bad at acting. Again, she’s only 18. How many 18 year olds do you know that get the lead role in a movie? Dan and Emma were kids when they were picked. People expected them to get better but they haven’t. Twilight hasn’t even been released yet so i don’t know what your talking about, i’m sure Rob and Kristen will get tonnes of awards after its released. This is the first time either of them has stared as the main role in a film so i can assure after this film they will get lots of awards. And besides your theory is bullsh*t. Many fabulous actors go unrecognised without awards for example Rupert Grint. Emma should have never ever gotten the role as Hermione, she doesn’t even try to act at all. And Dan makes me cringe when i see him act. I have heard many many people complain that Dan and Emma keep getting awards while Rupert gets none because he’s a better actor then both of them put together. People only think Dan’s a good actor coz he got naked in Equus and thats it. Again, the cast of Twilight can actually act, the cast of HP can’t.
