Isn’t it fascinating how Dan can look so mature in some candid and publicity photos, then go back to looking like a 16 year-old schoolboy on the set? Must be magic!

Marian i agree with you about how young Dan looks in the pictures we’ve seen. i remember all the fuss in the UK press when Dan appeared in Equus. how could we ever see him as Harry again! Well Dan has an ability to somehow change his ‘maturity’ if that makes sense. A great asset to have has an actor!

If you are a true fan of the books you would believe it should be as similar as possible. The one thing I don’t understand is that physical characteristics SHOULD be easy to copy from the books. But then again Hermione’s hair isn’t anything like it’s supposed to be.
