Potter’s girl Emma is a hit with the boys at the polo
Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, above, had no shortage of male admirers in the Chinawhite VIP tent at last week’s Cartier International Polo, and I predict she’ll soon be dating again.
Emma, who plays Hermione Granger in the hit movies, is going through a seriously rocky patch with her boyfriend, financier Jay Barrymore, 27, who was notably absent from her 18th birthday party in April.
‘It’s no coincidence that Emma was enjoying herself at the polo,’ says a chum. ‘She has hinted that it will all be over very soon and her parents are secretly very relieved. They thought Jay was too old for her.
‘At the moment Emma’s hoping she’s got the grades to get into Cambridge, which is more important to her than having a boyfriend.’

i’m completely agree with emma whatever she does , if it makes her happy is fine! anyway she knows what’s wrong and what’s right for her , and for all her career as an actress

panther2010,you can’t be completely agree with her,first because is not the point if what she do makes her happy or not,is about be councious of what she does,and second but not least,she doesn’t know what’s right and/or wrong yet.And is not good to congratulate her “with all the boys”,she is not an slut,just because she was not doing anything escept talking with two guys and hugging his cousin,the boy who cames with her to the polo play.And by the way,Jay is 24(march 10 1984,you can see this on imdb jay barrimore’s database)and the article didn’t said that they broke up.Anyway,the daily mail is totally crap,for example,because THEY said that Emma was only talking with them,and then she came back to her house(as she did)with a girlfriend(the girl in the picture)

i’m not saying she is a slut i’m just saying that is so dificult for her to try to have a normal relationship with guys that we shouldn’t judge her because the things that she is doing r normal things that all the teenagers do and i believe that all the gossip that’s all around emma and her bf is crap.. just they know what is really happening! and she is 18 i think she can be mature not enough but she can realized about a lot of things

Jay never existed.
Does this mean the rumor of Emma attending RADA is false? I’m not surprised that her and Jay didn’t work out 9 years is just too big an age gap at their ages.

There was a rumor that Emma had got into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (a very prestigious acting school) to study Shakespeare. I never thought it was true because in reality Emma’s not a very good actress. Is she can’t manage on screen (with many takes) I don’t think she could manage doing Shakespeare on stage.

I agree. She’s not a very good actress. Memorizing and delivering lines are two completely different things. She’s smarter than the boys though.

Yeah, she isn’t the greatest actress out there but maybe this school could help improve that, and help take her to the next level.
I don’t think she was ever dating “Jay”, and this story is complete bull IMO.
So what, she took a summer coarse at RADA. Good for her. She still is wanting to go to Uni. I don’t see what the big deal is.

Wow, they’re really sticking with this Jay guy. “Notably acbsent from her birthday party”-that line gives it away. Even Ducky went all the way to Paris with Emma. Remember, if the papparazzi see it, they take pictures-no pics of them yet(just trying to convince the people not to believe this stuff, although it is a good read). Also if she would have went to her hotel room with him(if they meant what I think), like they said, that would have been statutory rape, he would be in jail(she was 17 at that time), he was over 18, but I don’t know the laws in Britian, it might be different. Over here that’s considered rape, even if she agrees, because she is under age.
They do have the title right though, you can clearly see Emma hanging out with the boys there.
From what I hear age of consent in England is 16, so no statutory rape. Though I’m not sure Emma and Jay had that type of relationship. Maybe she just enjoyed her time with him at the party they were witnessed making out at and that’s all that happened. Emma probably realizes she’s not ready for a serious relationship at the moment. Going back to the age of consent it varies from state to state in the U.S. For most states like California it is 18. Though some like “South Carolina” it’s only 15. I know it’s scary but it’s true.
It wasn’t rape. You people are something else. I can’t believe Emma’s lovelife is up to such specultaion.
That being said, those newer Michael Corker pics show he’s a cutie too. Don’t know who I like more Corker or the Boulle guy.
Sort of cool she invited a guy from her RADA class to go with her. He got to see the posh side of English culture.

i thought they were just seen together once. omg ppl these days. i bet if she was standing next to orlando bloom or something they’d probably say they were dating too! so lame.
well, according to the most recent pictures on this site, Emma was partying in Ibiza with a man who looks strikingly similar to Jay Barrymore. Of course, that was several weeks ago, so they could have broken up.
