I agree, I mean I love fashion and I read every single Vogue like bible and I have to say she looks fine, but they’ve done so much better photoshoots, I’m not that amazed, Emma has almost the same expression in every pic, I’m not feeling it.

She has a beauty that is a comercial beauty that many people can relate to, kind of like ‘the cute girl in journalism class’
And it’d be a lie to say that I don’t prefer exotic beauty because I do, and just because I appreciate an exotic look doesnt mean that I don’t appreciate a comerical look.
And with my comment I meant that in this editorial Emma does look stunning, its different than her usual comercial beauty. And also Vogue tends to do that with many actresses, they dress them up in couture and give them different make-up and its a beautiful artistic change that makes them look stunning, it also shows that the actress themselves has the ability to have versitile looks.

on most of them she isn’t wearing too much make-up so they’re not as different from her non-photoshopped pictures in other events and premieres she attends. Only here, she is wearing better dresses. Face is still the same unless she is making a weird exression which the photographers may haave directed her to do

Would I like Bonnie to do a photoshoot like this one? Absolutely, it’s gorgeous! What’s the problem about that? Because I really don’t see your point in asking that.
I don’t know if you’re seeing the same photos as me, but she IS wearing a lot of make up. And I didn’t even mention her make up. Oh, and to me she looks very different from her appearance in premieres. Usually her tanner doesn’t look as good as this one, and she tends to use softer colors, not smoky-eyes and make up who makes her cheek bones stand out. She wears much more natural make up, and her clothes and accessories and especially hair are VERY different. Lately she has been looking really young, but in this shoot she looks older than her age, so that’s why I think she looks so different (like MANY people do).
The most photoshopped photo to me is the one with the pink dress, where she is laying down. Her face has a completely different shape, there was definitely work done on that one, unless it’s just an effect of the photos, but I doubt it.
I still think in some pics she looks much different than usual, like the one in the red channel dress (maybe because they made her eyes become lighter), but I don’t think that is as bad as you may think.

I think no matter what age you are a successful photo has to be believable and I didn’t believe most of these photo’s. I don’t care what anyone says — the art direction and the dresses in this photoshoot are amazing. Emma isn’t a model, and she does seem stiff in front of the camera, although I’m sure with time she’ll improve. I usually think she’s “cute”, but she looks really good in this photoshoot. With the right amount of photoshop, makeup, and clothes — they really can turn a cute girl into a beautiful woman. Too bad Emma doesn’t look like this in real life.

will people stop judging emma and accept that this is a great photoshoot for an 18 year old young person?
And most of all stop trying to say negative things about her because she doesn’t look sophisticated, or looks stiff or something. She is not a trained model, and she certainly hasn’t gone through enough in life because she is only 18, so that maturity and sophistication that you see in nicole kidman and angelina shoots are not going to appear for her now. Give it some time. And stop mentioning that she doesn’t look like this in real life, it is a photoshoot and she has make-up on!! For godness sake have you seen some tabloid magazines with celebrities in real life which includes everyone from lily allen to nicole kidman? they don’t look like their photoshoot pics either so please stop.
And honestly, those are her eyes, her nose, her lips etc and so even if it is photoshopped, those are her features and they haven’t been changed drastically because we can all recognize her and know that it is her. What is this pressure that you fans put on the young celebrities? These expectations you have are ones that no one can live up to.
It’s so sad and pathetic to see.

I don’t think age has anything to do with it really. There are many people who can do an amazing shoot before the even hit 18 years old.
I don’t think many people here are judging Emma, we don’t know her personally and no one would ever be stupid/rude and say “Oh Emma you should look like this all the time. Why don’t you look like this all the time?”
Judging is a harsh word, people are simply making an observation and writing what they think. It seems that here many people think that when it comes to looking at a person one only has the option between loving it or judging harshly. Opinions are NOT split into black and white like that, and personally I think its sad and pathetic to see that people can’t understand the difference between having a different opinion and judging.

I think she looks gorgeous in those pics. Some of the fashion seems a bit “too much”, but Emma adds just the right amount of innocence and class to the fotos to make them work.

There’s something OFF in these pictures. Whilst they are nice, it doesn’t work for me, she looks out of place. With this sort of high end fashion I believe you need someone who is ethereal, Emma is to “normal” to pull this photoshoot off.

it’d not just you. these haters think she’s slutty because they have nothing good to say about emma. the only picture that can be considered “racy” is the one in the bath tub and even then, you can only see her shoulders so she could easily be wearing a tube/sleeveless dress underneath.

I think this is the best photoshoot emma’s ever done. Because, for once, she shows some emotion in her face! I mean the one in the bathtube is just amazing! And the one by the water. Although the sylist have maybe overdone it with the decoration in some places. But that’s not Emma’s fault. I’m just glad that for once we get more than the dead-eyes-looking-into-camera expression.
